Royal City Church
We work together to make the invisible visible.
The values that drive us
Relationship: We believe in intentionally building, fostering and deepening our relationships with God, our guests, the local church and the greater community. We strive to love God and love others in all aspects of Royal City life. Relationships help to transform lives.
Justice: We strive towards the Biblical principal of justice, meaning “right relationship.” Despite life choices, all are treated with unconditional love. We call on God's direction on how to stand with the marginalized, and remove the yoke of injustice.
Beauty: Seeking to see through the eyes of God, we acknowledge beauty in brokenness and strive to be creative in our love.
A little about us
Our Community: We are a church family with representation in every age group, a wide range of education, and varied vocational endeavours. We long to be a place where diversity can flourish. Our congregation is composed of university students, youth, singles, married, young, older, and families with children.
Our History: We were constituted January 24th, 1993. We began as a home church in October 1991 and held our first formal church meeting in October 1992. We met in various location in Guelph before purchasing our current location at 50 Quebec Street.
Our Larger Family: As a part of the Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada, our formal Articles of Faith and Practice have been adopted from our larger tribe. While we feel our doctrines of faith are important, we remain committed to creating a space for people of differing perspectives and convictions to journey with us and find Christian community at the Table of Jesus.
We meet at: 50 Quebec St., Guelph ON
